The Hotel Freihof in Wedel had such a lovely and charming atmosphere! The historical building created a unique ambiance that made me feel like I was stepping back in time. The decor was beautifully maintained and had a warm and cozy feel. It was so nice to walk around and explore the hotel's general areas, which were all well-maintained and had comfortable seating. As a senior, I really appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The hallways were spacious and well-lit, making it easy for me to navigate with my walking aid.
If I had to ask for one thing to make my vacation even better as a senior, it would be for the staff to be more attentive and understanding of our needs. Sometimes, the children working there seemed a bit preoccupied and didn't pay much attention to our requests.

I chose this hotel for attending a town hall meeting as it had 2 meeting rooms available for events. The rooms were well-equipped and conducive to productive discussions. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and ensured that all our needs were met. a satisfactory experience for business purposes.
I was disappointed by the lack of a reliable and high-speed internet connection. As someone who needed to stay connected for work, the inadequate wifi made it difficult to carry out necessary tasks efficiently.

Good breakfast options and nice breakfast room. Comfortable and clean room with modern and vintage furniture mix. The hotel had a cozy atmosphere that made me feel at home. The breakfast was one of the best things about the hotel, with lots of options available. The room was also quite comfortable, and I enjoyed the mix of modern and vintage furniture.
Noise from nearby traffic was a bit problematic. The location was not as convenient as I would have liked for my business trip. The noise from traffic on the nearby road was a bit disruptive, which made it hard to sleep at night. Additionally, the location was not convenient for my business trip, and I had to spend a lot of time travelling to and from meetings.

The hotel had a great location near plenty of restaurants and was close to the port. the room was nicely furnished and clean, but the bed was too small. the breakfast room was charmingly decorated with antiques and had a variety of food. Homemade jams, cakes, and cereals were yummy.
The Wi-Fi connection was very poor and kept dropping out.

During our Easter stay, we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and historical ambiance of the building. the breakfast was varied and delicious, especially the homemade jams. we appreciated the free and reliable Wi-Fi connection. the location is great for birdwatching, and there are beautiful spots by the river.
The pillows were flat, and we had to ask for an extra one. the room was a bit dated, and the mattress was too worn out for our liking.
